About Me

 I am a dedicated professional with a rich educational background and a passion for empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their personal and professional goals. I earned my bachelor's degree in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2006, laying the foundation for my commitment to understanding the complexities of human behavior.

Driven by my desire to contribute meaningfully to people's lives, I pursued further education, obtaining a master's degree in Human Resources Management in 2009 and, more recently, a master's degree in Counseling in 2023, both from Lindenwood University. As a provisionally licensed counselor  under supervision, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a client-focused approach to my practice.

My philosophy revolves around utilizing a holistic approach to counseling, addressing present issues while working collaboratively with clients to set and achieve future goals. I firmly believe in building upon personal strengths to attain professional and personal objectives, recognizing that finding balance in life is the key to positive changes in all areas.

My dedication to making a difference extends beyond my counseling practice. I have engaged with various non-profit organizations, high schools, universities, and churches, where I developed assessments, service plans, and fostered partnerships within the community. My expertise includes coaching and interview techniques, guiding individuals in personal growth, creating service and action plans to monitor success, and facilitating seminars on communication, anger management, and conflict resolution.

I am an active member of the American Counseling Association, showcasing my commitment to staying informed about the latest developments in the field. Additionally, I serve as a NAMI facilitator and contribute as a panelist for Father Support and Family Center, emphasizing my dedication to community support and mental health advocacy.

With my unique blend of education, experience, and genuine care for my clients, I am well-equipped to guide individuals towards transformative changes, providing the tools, support, and resources needed for a higher quality of life.
